My downtown New York City photos - Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Chinatown, etc.

Greenclay:
I finally decided to create one place where I could show my photos of New York City.  I'll add a few more, from time to time.  I hope you like them.

The photos of the South Street Seaport and Brooklyn Bridge were taken at about 7:30 to 8:00 AM.

A few blocks from the Seaport, a street sign lets you know exactly where you are...

South Street Seaport - including the Fulton Market.  Note the Yankees shop on the right side, in pictures 2 and 3:

The Brooklyn Bridge and surrounding area.

At the northern end of Wall Street, looking down "The Street" (as it is called, in the financial industry)
This should give you a pretty good idea of the sheer size of the area.  (Today, there seemed to be a lot of Russian and Japanese tourists, but there are crowds of tourists from all over the world every day here.)
In picture #3, you can see The Trump Building (a Donald Trump property) and on the right side, a banner for
the local Cipriani nightclub.

At the far southern end of Wall Street, looking at the Wall Street heliport (helicopter landing pad)
and ferries going to and from the Wall Street ferry pier.

The financial industry is safe - you can get fine French chocolate on Wall Street!

At the construction site of the National September 11 Memorial.

Thank you very much.
I know you can sympathize with this - it was a damn hot day, with amazing humidity.
When I got to the office I was already soaked.  But hey, I'm happy and lucky to be working there.
(They were also filming a new movie in the area, for a while - "Premium Rush.")
